Grade 2 - Rests

In music, don't forget to count the rests as well as the notes!

In grade one you already started using some of the rests – in grade two there are additional ones! It is easy to forget to count a rest when playing a piece of music but you must always keep an eye out for them as they will affect the timing of your notes. Rests give you a chance to look ahead to what is coming next.
