Year Five students of KS2 Maths will be very familiar with the different units of time, from seconds to millennia, so should have little difficulty selecting the correct unit to measure the duration of different events. They will also be expected to write and tell the time in both digital and analogue format and be able to convert AM and PM to their equivalent on a 24 hour clock.
There are two types of clock - digital and analogue. Digital clocks use just numbers whilst analogue clock use words. For example, 12:00 on a digital clock would be 12 O'clock on an analogue. Some digital clocks are '24 hour' clocks. This means that instead of using AM or PM to tell you if it is morning or afternoon, different numbers are used. For example, 3AM would be 03:00 on a 24 hour clock and 3PM would be 15:00.
How long will this test take you? Why not time yourself and find out?
