About KS1 Religious Education
KS1 Religious Education helps children aged 5–7 explore beliefs, special places, symbols and celebrations. Each quiz has 10 questions with instant feedback, so pupils can learn new facts, check understanding and build respectful awareness of different traditions in short, engaging sessions.
The section introduces key world religions with child-friendly language. Start with festival and worship basics in Islam or Christianity, then compare beliefs and practices in Hinduism and Judaism. Replaying a quiz after a day or two strengthens recall and helps children use the correct vocabulary when talking about faith and culture.
Use these quizzes at home for regular revision or to spark discussion about values such as kindness, fairness and respect. Short, varied practice supports classroom learning and encourages curiosity about the communities and celebrations children encounter.
See the official Government guidance: Religious Education.
