Year 2 Calculation - Addition Problems

This quiz addresses the requirements of the National Curriculum KS1 Maths and Numeracy for children aged 6 and 7 in year 2. Specifically this quiz is aimed at the section dealing with solving addition problems.

Children in Year 1 will be expected to solve addition problems presented to them in key words rather than symbols. Solving these addition problems means being able to recognise those key words, such as 'total' or 'altogether', and to calculate accordingly.
