About KS1 Geography
KS1 Geography introduces children aged 5–7 to the world around them. Pupils learn about continents, oceans, maps and weather, while exploring key terms like city, country, coast and climate. The subject builds curiosity about places near and far.
Our quizzes turn learning into quick, enjoyable practice. Spot landmarks in Famous World Landmarks, practise enquiry in Asking Questions in Geography, explore capitals in Countries of the World, or strengthen UK knowledge with British Isles – Cities.
Children build confidence as they revisit topics and get instant feedback. Encourage guessing if they’re unsure… explanations guide them to the right answer and support long-term recall.
See the official Government guidance: Geography programmes of study: key stages 1 and 2.
